My FAVORITE Landscape Painting

I first painted this landscape years ago and it has remained my personal favorite. I'll share some highlights that I believe make this one so special. Those will include using a layer of color beneath your painting, exaggerating those darks and lights for a dramatic effect, using multiple layers of geography to really push the painting into the distance and how limiting your color palette can ensure great color harmony.
While this isn't designed for the very beginner artist, there are a number of tips that will help anyone who wants to learn to paint landscapes.
