Steven Crowder doesn’t want the media to make ‘straight characters’ lesbian in response to Velma from Scooby-Doo being depicted as a lesbian. The Majority Report crew discusses how Velma seemed lesbian-coded in the early iterations of the character. The MR crew also talks about LGBTQ+ representation in the media and Crowder likely using outdated statistics on LGBTQ+ people. The crew also takes a dive at why straight men are so bothered when people or fictional characters are not straight.

Almost a lesbian, I always thought that she was coded gay right? am I wrong about that? Over the years it's arguable- I think you can make the argument even I feel information this won't surprise anybody but I've watched a lot of Scooby-Doo a lot of the various iterations of Scooby-Doo and a lot of the various Crossovers and I think over the and you know over the years people have especially towards the earlier episodes like head Canon wise like Velma was a lesbian for a lot of people. Then they made her more explicitly straight in like the movies...
