Southeast Wisconsin weather: Cloudy and windy Thursday night, rain showers possible offshore

Today's brief round of showers moved out and most of us will stay dry tonight and right into the weekend. Some lake effect rain showers likely develop offshore tonight. There is a slight chance those showers will clip our lakeside communities tonight and into tomorrow morning. Gusty north winds usher in cooler Canadian air overnight. High temperatures probably struggle to reach 50 on Friday. Freezing temperatures are expected away from the lake Friday night, and maybe even some frost near the lake.
