Etymology of: 'word' & 'lore' | Wordlore Wednesday

A new series where I talk about the history of our wonderful English language, one word at a time. Each and every word has a tale of its own, full of interesting kernels of information, so I see no reason why such tales should not be told.

As the name implies, new episodes will be uttered every Wednesday.
