Etymology of: 'word' & 'lore' | Wordlore Wednesday

A new series where I talk about the history of our wonderful English language, one word at a time. Each and every word has a tale of its own, full of interesting kernels of information, so I see no reason why such tales should not be told.
As the name implies, new episodes will be uttered every Wednesday.

Thou cannot go wrong with any of his films, so if you have a fondness for language do not tarry!
