AWR Hawkins talks about a new study from the Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC) released Monday showing that the FBI undercounted the number of times an armed citizen stopped an active shooting. According to the research center, the FBI reported armed citizens thwarted just 4.4 percent of active shooter incidents — a drastic difference from the 34.4 percent the CPRC found itself.
