Judith is an attorney, activist, and farmer who is the founder and Executive Director of Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance. Today on the show we discuss the common sense legislative bills that Judith and her colleagues are trying to encourage legislatures to pass. We discussed how most of the current laws are set up to protect large scale, industrialized farming at the expense of small scale, local, family farmers.
The type of laws that Judith is trying to get passed in the Texas Legislature would make it easier for people to sell food produced out of their own kitchen, sell eggs ungraded to restaurants, process chickens and rabbits less expensively, and sell raw milk at farmers markets just to name a few.
