Volusia Sheriffs release video of high water rescues during Hurricane Ian

Now that deputies have had some time to dock their cameras, here are just a few of the high-water missions they performed during Hurricane Ian.

Across the county and cities, we saw 1,000+ requests for rescue, and in one day 911 dispatchers handled almost 5 times their normal call volume. Thank you to all involved in these rescue efforts. We are still thinking of everyone who was impacted and devastated by this storm.
