Mr. Toad's Easy, Wild Ride

We scoot out of the work week with an instrumental by the Tower of Power into a song by the Iron Butterfly that should have been a hit but never got the plug from their record label they needed to get up on the charts... pity as it's good and fits perfectly here. Our work here is finished which means the Mayor is up for the weekend and the conclusion of mixing a Tower of Power song into each segue. We thank you for your indulgence and we'll get back to "regular" programming, whatever that is, next week...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
