The 2022 Camping Season Comes To A Close

The first morning’s fog spoke eloquently of the all but empty campground’s stillness. Later, deprived of the generosity (or messiness) of people, the ubiquitous squirrels foraged in earnest. High above, a pair of eagles were masters of the sky, while down below, the ducks faithfully patrolled the lake. Cool temperatures drove tiny fish into shallow water to warm up in the sunshine. Fall colors repainted the scenery daily and sunsets pictured an evening’s relaxing quiet.

For those who are interested in such things, the still pictures of the eagle and the duck were taken with a venerable Canon Rebel T3i. Everything else was captured on a couple mobile devices.
