This comes from a recent livestream where someone claimed that Rogan is a "shill." This is NOT me covering for Rogan. Of course, he could be a shill. This is me merely thinking out loud in front of a livestream audience. Could I be wrong about everything? Yes.
I haven't formulated and cemented my thoughts on this entirely. Not sure it would be a good idea to do so. Yes, there ARE things that Rogan does and propagates that are concerning, like the way he pushes NASA or backs down from "conspiracy theories" he once staunchly held. And it does make one wonder why he changed his mind on these things. But I shy away from calling him a "shill" partly because I hear that term used so frequently (without proof to back it up) that it has almost become meaningless. If an individual labels another a "shill" he's saying the shill is "an accomplice of a hawker, gambler, or swindler who KNOWINGLY acts as an enthusiastic customer to entice or encourage others." In bringing such an accusation, I'd say you'd have to have the evidence to back the claim.
Could Rogan just be on a journey, like the rest of us? Is he just trying to honestly be working things out in his own mind? Are their powerful forces and people telling him what to say and NOT to say? Does he have crazy popularity by design? What do you guys think? Is he a shill? Is he an agent of an elite cabal? Is his role to misdirect society?
