A special Indigenous ceremony saw dancers make their way into a Blackfoot naming event on Wednesday. The Children of St. Martha School in Lethbridge received a Blackfoot name and celebrated by hosting a Powwow full of bright colours and Indigenous regalia. As BCN’s Micah Quinn explains, children from five schools from around southern Alberta came by to enjoy the festivities.
