Psalm 93:2 Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

Thou art from everlasting! To be from everlasting can only be written on the resume of God himself.

Micah 5:2 But thou, Beth-lehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; *whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.*

And here, we get to see, that the child born in Bethlehem is the very God, whose going forth i.e. whose heritage, is eternity past.

Why would the everlasting God enter flesh? Love!!
John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

God is love. But he cannot be touched of death. Therefore, the only way he could die, shed blood to redeem us: Acts 20:28 ......feed *the church of God,* which he hath *purchased with his own blood.*

was to enter flesh and the flesh dies. In so doing, he demonstrated his eternal love. This is why he was made a Son. Entering flesh is also the only way he could be a faithful high priest (Heb 2:17).

Hebrews 7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; *but made like unto the Son of God;* abideth a priest continually.

That God would go to such lengths to buy/redeem us, is but one of many reasons, why millions, including myself, adores him and gladly bows the knee before his throne.
