Darrell Brooks trial Day 3: Brooks files to adjourn case, claiming he is on COVID-19 protocol

During his trial on Wednesday, Darrell Brooks filed a motion to adjourn proceedings claiming he is on COVID-19 protocol. Brooks is the man accused of killing six people and injuring dozens more in the Waukesha Christmas parade. A jury was seated on Tuesday, and opening remarks are scheduled to begin on Thursday. Judge Jennnifer Dorow reserved Wednesday for the court to address outstanding issues, but the court was not anticipating Mr. Brooks' motion.
