'Amsterdam' inspired by 'jaw dropping' real-life drama

Set in the aftermath of World War One, the film follows wounded soldiers Burt (Christian Bale) and Harold (John David Washington), who team up with their nurse Valerie (Margot Robbie) and decide to celebrate post-war life in Amsterdam and promise to be friends forever.
