Police Chief pressured to end mandate for pistol permit application

Greenwich, CT - Gun Owners of America (GOA) threatened to file suit against the police chief of the city for requiring letters of recommendation in order to apply for a pistol permit. This is a direct violation of state statute that forbids local jurisdiction's from creating ordinances that conflict with state laws.
