William Ludwell Lee inherited Green Spring Plantation

Famous plantation of the Royal Governor, William Berkeley. Lee died in 1803. The Ludwell family resided in Jamestown where they were prominent. Lee intended to build over the manor house, but never did. The excavated site is located 3 miles from Jamestown, Virginia
