Grom Motorcycle rain riding, knobby tires, and new Michelin City Grip 2 tires. Tire science: Siping

Tires are one of those things people know they need, and usually can tell when they aren't that great, especially if they are braking and still sliding through an intersection (sadly I didn't get that on video because my camera stopped recording just prior). Akira slides are cool and all, but there's a reason rain tires work. I try to explain it and go for a ride with both my old knobbies and my new Michelins.
