Nicaragua has something for everyone…even when it comes to weather. Most of Nicaragua has an average temperature of 80 F, however there are some cities in the highlands that have cooler temps. There are two seasons: the rainy season and the dry season which we like to call the green and golden season. The rainy season lasts from mid-May to mid-November, and October is usually the wettest month. The rainy season brings some amazing lightning storms across the ocean. And of course, that leaves mid-November to mid-May for the dry season. Occasionally we experience small earthquakes which was a new experience for Leslie living in this part of the world. The majority of the time there is lots of sunshine, a few rainbows, and the most spectacular sunsets to end your day.
