How To Lift a Sunken Concrete Pool Deck Slab With A DIY Tool

I designed my own tool to help me lift multiple cantilever pool deck slabs that had sunk up to 8 inches in some spots. The tool allows me to keep the bottle jack above ground and avoid having to dig under the slabs. The second half of the video is a montage of how I designed it and fabricated the first version. If there's interest in the 3D model, I can work out a way to share it for anyone else needing to do this kind of work.

The design of the tool is similar to a railroad jack with some twists to help getting the tool under the edge of the slab without having to dig under it very much.
