In Episode 42, Cat and I discuss the now famous UAZ 452 "Bukhanka", a maxivan with four-wheel drive and extreme off-road capabilities that could go just about anywhere. Based on the GAZ 69, a Soviet vehicle similar to a Jeep, the UAZ 452 gets its nickname from its appearance, that being similar to a loaf of Russian black bread, or Bukhanka. This highly-versatile vehicle started to be made in 1958 and, with only a few slight modifications, is still made today, and for a very reasonable price! It also has the capability to haul a LOT of stuff and can be highly modified to suit your needs. So I want a Bukhanka!
