Ethic: Pages 107 to 132
Proposition 14: Besides God, no substance can be nor can be conceived.
Proposition 15: Whatever is, is in God, and nothing can either be or be conceived without God.
Corollary 3: God is absolutely the first cause.
“My adversaries, indeed (if I may be permitted to speak plainly) seem to deny the omnipotence of God…”
Proposition 19: God is eternal, or, in other words, all His attributes are eternal.
P 125: “Whatever is, is in God,… He exists necessarily and not contingently.’
P130: “From what has gone before, it clearly follows that things have been produced by God in the highest degree of perfection, since they have necessarily followed from the existence of a most perfect nature. Nor does this doctrine accuse God of any imperfection , but on the contrary, His perfection has compelled us to affirm it.”
