Easy Peasy 105 Kgs Paused Bench Press Single.

First day on my new training program! As I touched on previously, my intention is to increase my benching frequency starting with three days a week, in comparison to two; and incorporate heavy singles for my lifts in to my training. So the first day of every lift I am going to work up to a heavy single, and then do some back off sets (5x3-5 reps at 60-75 percent of my training max, given the lift, and how I am feeling). Subsequent days of training with the main lifts will be variations with varying intensities around 50-70-ish percent range. I am definitely feeling a lot weaker, and still low energy, so I decided to not start with a weight that is too intensive. I adjusted the J-Hooks a step higher, and despite it feeling a bit high, and the bar having the tendency to catch on the lips of the hooks on the unrack, I think it does make the unracking feel a little easier, and less draining, so I think I will try and stick with this setting.
