GAME CHANGER! SERATO DJ Pro3.0 Public Beta FULL 1HOUR 4 DECK DEMO ZAY LONDON Serato Stems With Video

Serato Released Serato DJ Pro 3.0 Public Beta A Game Changing update & I had to test it immediately by doing a full 1 hour video (VDJ) mix using all its new features & all 4 Decks playing R&B / RAP / HIP HOP / AMAPIANO / HOUSE / JUNGLE / SLOW JAMS. COMPLETE FREESTYLE. MISTAKES INCLUDED....

After diving right in and trying to do a mix as soon as the new serato version was installed. I quickly discovered this will be no easy mission. You need to have 20 fingers and 2 pairs of eyes in order to keep a grasp on all the buttons you have to press and knobs you have to turn yet alone do the actual basics of djn / mixing & then try to keep an eye on what's happening visually.

Im not sure if even after many hours of practice I would want to dj like this on my gigs. I also couldn't help notice the quality of the sound was not my usual standard. Started to slightly annoy me with the almost phasing sound that I kept experiencing.

The real issue is processing power on your machine!

I used 4 decks / Video Djn / Recorded Also recorded the serato screen separately. I could feel my machine trying its hardest not to quit. 30 minutes into the mix out of the blue no warning Serato crashed. I had no choice but to not push as hard and record again but without recording my actual serato screen & this help it to feel more stable. Until I started using the stem pads and I noticed allot of delayed response after I hit the pads & also a few occasions the current mix skipped a beat or 2.

My conclusion is simple

GREAT FUN WAS HAD DJN WITH STEMS IN MY PRIVATE ENVIRONMENT. I WILL NOT BE EXPERIMENTING WITH THIS BETA VERSION OF SERATO ON ANY OF MY ACTUAL BOOKINGS. I hope the official release is a great improvement as Djay AI has had stems for quite along time and it seems to feel allot more stable / light / reliable...
