Ogopogo Search Ends in Disaster
Our Search for the Legendary Ogopogo in BCs Okanagan lake has ended in disaster.
The ROV Gladius Mini S being used was very badly damaged.
In the summer of 2022 while on our second expedition, a passing motor craft snagged the ROVs tether cable, destroying it and the control unit.
The operator suffered minor injuries from the fast moving cable whipping past his legs and the controller being pulled from his hands.
