We were very privileged to have a very special guest - Dr. John Harries from the Australian Nuclear Association.

Dr. John Harries is a physicist with a 30 year career at the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation, known as ANSTO, including 3 years as Counsellor in Nuclear Science, at the Australian Embassy in Washington DC.

He was also an adviser to the Royal Commission into British Tests in Australia.

Dr. Harries is the past President and current Secretary of the Australian Nuclear Association and has been principal author for many ANA submissions on nuclear energy to parliamentary inquiries.
