Prime Minister Justin Trudeau holds a news conference in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, to announce a $300-million fund to help affected communities and businesses recover from Hurricane Fiona. The Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) and Développement économique Canada pour les régions du Québec (DEC) will administer the two-year recovery fund. Fiona brought damaging winds, flooding, and power outages to much of Atlantic Canada and parts of Quebec. Ginette Petitpas Taylor, the minister responsible for ACOA, also speaks with reporters. The prime minister faces questions as well about Canada's sanctions on Iran and the United Conservative Party of Alberta's leadership race.
