Canada: Federal environment commissioner Jerry DeMarco presents his 2022 fall reports – October 4, 2022

Federal Environment and Sustainable Development Commissioner Jerry DeMarco holds a news conference on Parliament Hill following the tabling of his latest fall reports. The five reports contain audits on the federal government's management of radioactive waste, the protection of aquatic species at risk, progress of the Federal Sustainable Development Strategy, implementation of sustainable development strategies, and information on the number and status of environmental petitions received between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022.
