Carol Crosson, President of Rights and Freedoms Advocate charity, interviews Mark Mercer, a professor of philosophy in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He is the President of the Society for Academic Freedom and Scholarship (SAFS), a national group that supports academic freedom. Carol asks Professor Mercer about free speech and academic freedom on Canadian campuses and they discuss the reasons why our young people need “dangerous universities” that nurture free thinking and free speech.
