Have you ever noticed that gas prices are higher in Michigan than in other states surrounding us? It's frustrating, especially when prices continue to go up across the state. But, there is a reason for that. It has to do with taxes, refineries and much more. Oakland University Professor Chris Kobus has been teaching about the energy sector for over 27 years. He gave us a reason why gas prices might be higher here.
