Trump Sues CNN For $475 Million, 3934

Good morning, I’m still reporting on the coup.

First, a tribute to Hanna Martin Hammer, who died last Tuesday just two days short of her 95th birthday surrounded by all 6 of her children, including my wife, Elizabeth.

She left us with a copious output of 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was a great Christian soul, who spoke in the sweetest southern dialect and always found a way to encourage us all. Whenever she was present at our dinner table, she was asked to serve up one of her beautiful blessings.

She is now re-united with her beloved husband, Dick Hammer.
At her wake this evening, I was proud to wear this badge of honor – Son In Law.

After taking the sucker punches from CNN for the last year, President Trump sued the financially weak TV news network for defamation, saying that CNN is attempting to dissuade Trump from running again in 2024. According to the lawsuit which was filed on Monday in federal court in Fort Lauderdale, Florida:

“CNN’s campaign of dissuasion in the form of libel and slander against the Plaintiff has only escalated in recent months as CNN fears the Plaintiff will run for president in 2024.

“As part of its concerted effort to tilt the political balance to the Left, CNN has tried to taint the Plaintiff with a series of ever-more scandalous, false, and defamatory labels of ‘racist’, ‘Russian lackey’, insurrectionist’, and ultimately ‘Hitler’.”

Trump warned last July that this and other lawsuits were coming against other networks.

“I will also be commencing actions against other media outlets who have defamed me and defrauded the public regarding the overwhelming evidence of fraud throughout the 2020 election. I will never stop fighting for the truth and for the future of our country.”

He also warned that these other networks have “defamed and defrauded the public” about the 2020 presidential election results.

One can only imagine that Trump – who is a master strategist – believes that this vehicle not only will scorch the already financially ailing network, but give him the opportunity to detail in a public forum the massive amount of evidence of election fraud during the 2020 presidential election.
