Should I let my real estate agent manage my multifamily property?

Good question.

No, you would never want to do this as it presents several problems. A real estate agent will not normally have adequate training to be a professional property manager. It's like asking a doctor to work as a dentist. They are different training even though both understand the human body.

You need to pick an experienced property manager. Unless your real estate agent has experience managing multifamily properties this is a bad idea.

Before you do any investing you should invest more time and money in your financial and legal education. This sort of thinking is going to lead you into many problems.
