I read the chapter “Campaign Finance Reform” from Ron Paul’s 2011 book Liberty Defined, and then explain my own thoughts on Citizens United v. F.E.C., and on the relationship between the growth of the size and scope of government and the unionizing rights of government employee unions.
I also discuss Senator Rand Paul’s and former Chicago Sun-Times columnist Dennis Byrne’s views on the same topics, as well as the 2018 Supreme Court case Janus v. AFSCME.
