As we are reminded of this exciting season to celebrate, we can also be greatly encouraged to know that the Lord revealed “It’s going to be the 1970’s again!” No, not the shag carpeting and bell bottoms. God poured out His Spirit Sovereignly in what is now known as the “Jesus Movement”! The Lord sovereignly put His hand upon an entire generation of young people and brought them to Himself through Jesus Christ. As we hear and listen to more and more of the exciting testimonies from these moments in Church history, we can see a picture clearer and clearer of what the Lord is about to do. Find out about day one, Father’s Day 1995, of the Brownsville Revival and how it too was a sovereign move of God.
