Our first interview with Leanne is here: https://youtu.be/o5x9Hj_8yH8

Here is a list of what Leanne achieved in the last 3 years:

• Opened up the workshops to the public.
• Introduced chat sessions at local libraries.
• Organised funding of $100,000 per annum for HBC youth centre for three years.
• Penlink is approved and underway.
• Achieved an unprecedented 100% completion of projects.
• Installed security cameras to assist Police in making our Hibiscus Coast safer.
• Established improved working relationships with our councillors.
• Removed free meals and reduced mileage claims for Coast People.

What Coast People intend to do if re-elected for another term:

• Continue to make the board even more accessible to the public as Covid restrictions lessen.
• Continue to work constructively with AT regarding road safety concerns.
• Work to ensure no new delays relating to Penlink or Orewa Seawall.
• Continue developing communications with as many local groups as possible due to our beliefs in our responsibility to be a conduit for the public to the council.
