On the Railroad with RailFan Rob Mosley...

Hello again Railfans!!
This video is an experiment in night video recording. Normally I don't take night footage for obvious reason except for Taylor Yard which had great lighting for night filming. With the days getting shorter and gas still expensive I decided to try my hand at night shooting using lights I already have here at the house. You'll see them at the start of the video...

For the first part of this video I only used the square light placed on the ground. For the second part I used both lights placed on the trunk of my car. I thought the second part came out better with the addition of the second light. I do have to work on angle but without blinding the workers that are inside the locomotive. Next time I will position my self better in conjunction with the angle of the light and my camera.

This is a work in progress because I don't have a very expensive camera that can do awesome night shoots with minimal lighting. Please give me your feedback whether good or bad. I value your opinion on how I can make night shooting a little more appealing without having to travel 15 miles up the road to shoot at Taylor Yard...
