Catching up with Mufti Hassoun in Damascus

Damascus, July 1st, 2019. It is what I look forward to the most when visiting Damascus - catching up with one of my favourite people in the world - Dr Hassoun, the Grand Mufti of Syria.

Dr Hassoun is indeed a rare soul. He is a great man of peace and a loving father to the entire nation - Muslim and Christian alike. I pray for him every day, and was greatly encouraged to see that he continues to be in great health and spirits, despite his enormous responsibilities.
