Bluegrass at the Settlement presented by the Southwest Bluegrass Club is a free concert for everyone, held on the first Saturday of the month in Grapevine, TX.
They sponsor a great band for patrons to enjoy. We attended The Heroes concert. They were fantastic! Great musicians (as you can see and hear) and great songwriters.
The venue is very intimate. Mr. Hatfield has the audience set up under the shade trees in the park, complete with large fans and port-a-cools.
Grapevine, TX is a great town to visit for you weekend warriors or just a day trip. Holly and I used to live nearby, and it's wild how much Grapevine has grown. I used to play the Grapevine Opry (not sure if it's still there). They would always have meet out for 50's & 60's night. Good times. That was in the late 90s (if I am remembering accurately).
