Day 249🥩🔥🏋️♂️ of my carnivore diet what I eat in a day weight loss meal prep experiment/documentary. I fell off the carnivore wagon this evening. I’m feeling the pain of possibly over exerting myself in yesterday’s workout and that may have led to my falling of and eating grapes and fruit smoothie later in this day. I’m noticing this happening the past 3 times I’ve fallen off carnivore and eaten fruits it’s been shortly after an intense workout. Perhaps fruits are in my future for workouts only? Not sure yet, however I will pay attention to this :)
7:45am - 6 strips of bacon + 6 eggs scrambled with ghee and salt
9:30am - 1oz kirkland coastal english cheddar + 1oz kerrygold dubliner cheese
1:00pm - 2 grass fed beef patties (0.66lbs) with salt
4:30pm - 0.6lbs ribeye steak and roasted tail fat + 2oz kerrygold dubliner cheese
5:30pm - 3 servings of this fried salami + kerrygold dubliner cheese
6:30pm - fell off the carnivore wagon and had 2 servings of green and red grapes + 24oz frozen fruit smoothie
I (Paul Woolley) am a father of 2 great boys, husband to 1 beautiful wife :), business owner that started carnivore diet to optimize my life, increase performance, and to lose some of that jiggley fat off my midsection. For the past few years, I thought the people that did carnivore and shared it online were influencers doing it to spite vegans and get clicks online, which is hilarious, but I'm now thinking that was not entirely true :) The reason I got started on this carnivore style of living is because one day while scrolling YouTube I ran across a JRE podcast where Joe Rogan asked Jordan B Peterson about what he's doing to have lost so much weight. Jordan shared his carnivore lifestyle and even shared some of his daughter Mikhaila Peterson story overcoming autoimmune issues on a strict version of this carnivore diet she calls the Lion Diet. I highly recommend you search both videos where they tell their stories. Next, I read The Carnivore Code by Dr. Paul Saladino to get the "how to" do this correctly. And during my daily lunch breaks I would watch videos by Dr. Anthony Chaffee, Dr. Shawn Baker, and Dr. Ken D Berry to learn more about how to do this effectively and here I am, down 54+lbs, sharing my carnivore diet transformation journey.
