For all of Justin Trudeau's talk about protecting the rights of individuals, he sure had no issues stepping on the rights of people who wanted a choice in their medical decisions. Then, to pit Canadians against them by generalizing them as anti-vaxers, misogynists, and racists.

The greatest apology Speech Trudeau ( Should Have ) Made.
------------------------------------------------------
Today, I am here to say sorry. To offer an official apology as a government, quite frankly. WE FAILED!
I was in error to choose to engage in personal attacks against Canadians.
I don't think that in a free society we should be legitimizing or allowing discrimination against anyone.
It was a terrible mistake to not be respectful of everyone's rights but I should have and deeply regret that. but I also deeply regret was the horrifying scenes of police violence against indigenous peoples and veterans here in Ottawa. It was a mistake and I regret it.

I am here to offer the government of Canada an official apology for the appalling way these patriots were treated.

2022 has also exposed the limitations of flaws of our government that looked to pit Canadians against Canadians.

That's not responsible leadership.
And yet we find ourselves now in a more polarized, more divisive country.

This was my mistake, this was me not stepping back at a time when things were difficult enough already.

The fringe minority stood up to defend the charter of rights and freedoms.
You demanded the freedom to do what you want with your body.
You had the courage to defend the rights of the individual.
You never needed a piece of paper to be who you are.
Your job is to challenge people like me.
Thank you for stepping up.
My job as a Prime Minster is to be there and stand up and defend everyone's rights.
And I'm sorry that I didn't
Recent events just opened our eyes to what was right in front of us all the time.
For one, it's taught us just how much we need Mr. Poilievre.
We get to choose now what kind of future we want.
No parent should have to explain to their kids or their friends that they are unacceptable.
