The Valley of Regret

It is apparent that there will be many people that will have regrets as to what happened right now. This is a huge experiment.

Previous patients retained a 40% suicide rate even after surgery and they were adults 'capable of decisionmaking'...though the did have a disorder that rendered them incapable of making proper consent due to their diagnosis. This disturbs me because they should be protected by those who claim 'to do no harm', aka: hypocrites in their true original form.

Now this gentleman is suggesting the damage will be much worse than that in the future. Potentially this generation of 'dismorphia' sufferers as a whole will have a higher suicide rate, deeper forms of depression, and a lesser quality of life due to the decisions being made now.

We need to do better.
We can.
We will.

Make good decisions out there.
Getting gnarly.
