Thousands displaced due to severe flooding in Nigeria

Thousands of people were forced from their homes in Nigeria’s Kogi State after severe flooding hit the area.
According to the National Emergency Management Agency, more than 100,000 people in the state have been displaced by the disaster. The organization is still working to provide drinking water and food, among other basic necessities, to those affected.
