Not a Good Day for Uncle Bobby’s Fly Rod Here’s a review of the Ben’s of Holland Fly Rod I built

I tried to fish a good spot on the Guadalupe River but saw a few people so I went to my spot on another body of water and it was good. I caught Large Mouth Bass and Guadalupe Bass, the panfish were plentiful as well as the Texas Cichlid aka Rio Grande Perch. In the video I was using a Ben’s of Holland fly rod I believe it’s S2 glass but it cast like a dream.

I found these blanks from Benno Bron to be my favorite for light and ultra light fly fishing. Benno has a knack for producing a fine, full flexing taper that is smooth and robust. Blanks are translucent uni directional S glass. These are outstanding rods.
