The Greater the Financial Interests, the Less Likely Research Findings Are to Be True

Most healthcare professionals are not aware of the problem that "Most published research findings are false." (Dr. John Ioannidis)

When Dr. Malholtra argued against vaccine mandates, the Chair of the BMA had a conversation with him and said, "I can tell you one thing, most of the people — certainly in health policy that I know — and this may include the chief medical officer, I don't think they're critically appraising the evidence in the way you are."

Another interesting finding from Dr. John Ioannidis is that "The greater the financial and other interests and prejudices in a scientific field, the less likely the research findings are to be true."
