Asymmetric internal permanent magnet switched reluctance motor

In asymmetric motors, independent coils are switched on then off, without reversing direction of current. IPMsynRM - internal permanent magnet switched reluctance motor is used in Tesla electric cars . IPMsynRM uses less rare earth magnets than conventional permanent magnet motors. IPMsynRM is more efficient than induction motors.
