Mortgage rates inch higher again as the markets still don't like what they see

Are the financial markets on the verge of collapse? No, most likely not, but something is broken and I'm trying to figure it out. When the bond market breaks, that's a bigger issue than the stock market decline so we need to pay attention. Real estate market is totally driven by mortgage rates and mortgage rates are directly correlated with the bond market so we must pay attention! Buyers still wanting to buy real estate but with rates/payments this high, its really scaring a lot of people off. I've heard the term "holding pattern" a lot this week. These are just people stacking up for the future bull run, which is good, nothing wrong with it, but the deals are in this market, not that one - choose wisely! Links below, hope it helps!
