Well, it's not actually that's slightly incorrect because what comes out of your mouth, one really verbal communication is words. So your tone of voice also comes out of your mouth. Your tone of voice is one aspect of nonverbal communication. So verbal, if you think of verbal as words, verbal is what you say, the specific words you say, and then nonverbal is everything else.
