Putin holds treaties ceremony after LPR, DPR, Kherson, Zaporozhye "vote" on joining Russia (English)

Moscow Russian President Vladimir Putin holds a ceremony for treaties to be signed with the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics (LPR and DPR), Kherson and Zaporozhye, in Moscow on Friday, September 30.

It comes after the local authorities in the LPR and DPR, as well as those set up in Kherson and Zaporozhye after they came under Russian control, held referenda on joining Russia between 23-27 September.

Central Election Committee representatives reported that those who took part in the votes decided overwhelmingly in favour of the proposal.
