USBA/WBA Open Weight Bracket Series- 9-2022

The USBA/WBA is offering something new. The Open Weight Bracket Series. This breaking category is open to all weights, ranks, and genders. Everyone competes against each other in a "Bracketed" Double Elimination layout where the top competitors in each round move on to the next round. Competitors are "handicapped" based on their average as compared to the current USBA/WBA Lightweight Men's Records- https://usbawba.org/record-categories/18-male/ . Competitors who have not competed at enough events to attain an average will be handicapped based on the current 1st place standing found on the SCDA (Single Competitor Division Averaging) based on his or her weight and gender- https://usbawba.org/about/member-info/ . Prize money for 1st-3rd place wins based on number of competitors.
