Trump deposition in defamation suit date set for October

Former President Donald Trump is scheduled to be deposed in a defamation lawsuit brought by former magazine columnist E. Jean Carroll. A federal appeals court is ruling on whether to decide if Carroll's lawsuit against Trump will continue due to the fact that Trump made statements when he was a government official.
